Education & Mental Health
About me
My name is Alicia Andazola. I am a nationally certified school psychologist and former teacher with more than 20 years of K-12 experience working as an independent educational consultant & School-Based Counselor.
I graduated from ASU with a BA in Elementary Education. I worked as kindergarten and 1st grade teacher for 8 years. During that time I received specialized endorsements in K- 12 reading, early childhood birth-8 years, and structured English immersion. I then worked as an ABA therapist while I went back to school. I graduated from NAU with my educational specialist degree (Ed.S.) in School Psychology. I am certified in Arizona and nationally. I have 13 years of experience working with preschool through High School in person and online. I am a certified social emotional learning facilitator and yoga instructor.
My work is centered on helping students feel understood, supported, and empowered. I value creating a space where learning, emotional wellness, and personal growth work together. Through counseling and academic support services, I strive to help students and families identify strengths, navigate challenges, and build skills that create lasting success.
